I have worked in procurement for 30 years, 20 of them in leadership roles. Most of that time I spent in international pharma: at Novartis, Sandoz, MorphoSys and MSD, with country, European and global responsibility.
My home ground is indirect procurement. I know what it means to work where strategy, budgets, suppliers, stakeholders and daily execution meet, and where decisions often have to be made under time pressure.
Since 2025 I have been working as an independent interim manager, with a focus on pharma and other regulated industries.

APPROACH
How I work
My role is often to create clarity quickly: what needs to be decided, who has to be involved, where the risks are and what the next concrete steps are. I bring structure without making things more complicated than they are, and I am comfortable moving between senior stakeholders and the detailed work that gets things done.
I have led and developed people for twenty years. I am DISC certified, and two people I used to lead now head teams of their own.
I also write regularly for BIP – Best in Procurement, the journal of the BME.
